英雄简介
周鑫，男，1979年1月出生，1999年8月参加公安工作，生前系涪陵区公安局敦仁派出所民警，一级警司。
2009年2月20时许，连日加班的周鑫准备乘车回家，发现犯罪嫌疑人邵某正持刀行凶。为保护群众免受伤害，周鑫临危不惧，挺身而出，亮明警察身份，只身上前与歹徒殊死搏斗。
在搏斗中，凶残的歹徒疯狂持刀猛刺，周鑫不幸胸部、腿部连中数刀，但仍英勇顽强奋力追捕犯罪嫌疑人44米，最后倒在血泊中，经送往医院抢救无效光荣牺牲，献出了年仅
